Niyonzima is a passionate and proactive engineer with considerable working experience in projects development, design, implementation for renewable energy turnkey projects. He is a member of Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER). He is Founder and Managing Director of PowerHose a registered Rwandan company that provides professional energy services and solutions addressing electricity and energy challenges by improving access to and promoting adoption of clean and energy efficient technologies. He has more than 6 years of experience in renewable energy projects. He has been engaged in research and energy projects in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and Burundi. His work area focuses on micro-grids, smart grids, energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, climate change, energy transition and waste to energy recycling. He is eager to be a clean energy transition catalyst for Africa communities to achieve sustainable development in education and health, water, industries, and agriculture.
