Professional profile:

Mariam is a Medical Anthropologist with a strong Academia and Research background in Gender and Reproductive Health, Digital Anthropology, and Strengthening Health Systems in Africa.. Her PhD research was on COVID-19, Patterns of COVID-19 Vaccine infodemic and women Reproductive health in Kenya. Her interests span from pandemics/ epidemic traces, maternal and reproductive health, vaccine production and circulation, infectious and tropical diseases and Neglected Tropical diseases (NTD).
Mariam will be joining the Schistosomiasis elimination project at Merck KGaA global health department.
